About My Work:
I have taught across the U.S. and beyond (as well as online) for over 14 years now. I have many repeat, regular students both in person and online. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced). I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. My classes are created to bring that artist out!
I believe that anyone can keep an art journal. Many of my classes begin with the act of creating a book from your own hands and then spending the rest of the class time working within your new book. There is something to be said about working in a book that you've made from scratch. Not only do my workshops teach basic art foundations (composition, design, color, etc...) but they also teach the freedom and importance of self expression in art. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.
