These last few weeks of Creative Self Care have really been wonderful. I hope you have enjoyed them as well.
I think the biggest things that has struck me over the last few weeks is how much of self care is about being true to yourself. It is SELF care after all, but still we don’t often think of the term this way.
You are true to yourself when you let the chips fall where they may (as Kat said this week). You are true to yourself when you create boundaries from honest love (as we learned in the webcast). You are true to yourself when you let art flow from your body (like Paula did when her husband died). And you are true to yourself when you get a massage, pedicure, or lie in the hammock (as people suggested in the 100 Tips we are accumulating).
True. Be true to who you are. Create when you need to. Pamper when you need to. Do hard work when you need to.
Stand in the truth of who you were created to be and what you need to thrive and stay creative. [Tweet It]
We still have a couple more beautiful self care posts for you, so stay tuned!
